Are dangerous candies being distributed around schools?

News spread on social networks that candies of unknown composition were being distributed to students at the school.
The Children's Ombudsman commented on the situation and said that he is studying the situation.
As established by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a 3rd-grade student of a general education school in the Altynkul district of the Andijan region, Kh.M. (a boy born in 2015), bought 3 "STRAWBERRY" candies for 1,000 soums from a shop located in the same area, and when his classmate O.A. asked him where he got the candy from when he came to school, he lied, thinking that a stranger had given it to him.
The school nurse, O.A., based on the child's words, spread a false message on social networks that unknown individuals had given the suspicious candy "STRAWBERRY" to schoolchildren around the school.
Also, the news that the child died as a result of candy consumption is completely contrary to reality. Currently, a pre-investigation check is being conducted on this fact, and a forensic chemical examination has been ordered to determine whether the candy contains substances harmful to human health.
The Andijan Regional Department of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Committee also commented on the situation.
