Following a meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Minister of Preschool and School Education Hilola Umarova, along with her delegation, departed for London to participate in the World Education Forum.

During the meeting, Stephen Morgan spoke to the minister about the UK experience in preschool education.
The parties also discussed issues of mutual cooperation and the exchange of bilateral experience. In addition, during the dialogue, an exchange of views took place on work in the field of healthy nutrition of children and plans for the future.
After the forum, Minister Umarova met with prize-winners of the "El-yurt umidi" Foundation studying in Great Britain at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London.
At the meeting, the essence and significance of the Decree "On Measures for the Implementation of the President's Gifted Children Initiative" were discussed.
At the same time, bilateral meetings were also organized with partners working in the field of education in Great Britain.
A bilateral cooperation agreement has been signed with VSO (Volunteers Services Overseas).
According to it, the parties agreed to attract qualified specialists and volunteers from abroad to general education schools in Uzbekistan, in particular, more than 500 English teachers.
