Three students drowned in the same day.

Two children drowned in a pond in a farmer's field, and one drowned in a ditch. District khokim Kayum Khushbakov instructed the class teachers of all schools in the area to go door-to-door and check whether the students are with their parents.

In the Pakhtachi district of the Samarkand region, three children drowned in one day. This was reported by Kun.uz.

It became known that on May 24, students of the 6th grade of secondary school No. 6 of the Pakhtachinsky district, A.S. and N.M., went to a swimming pool in a farmer's field. During the swim, they drowned in the pool and died.

On the same day, another incident occurred where a student of the 8th grade of secondary school No. 32 drowned in a ditch.

"After lunch, he went to the field with his father to water the cattle. After watering the cattle, the father returned, and the boy remained in the field. Whether he fell into the ditch or lost consciousness, we still don't know for sure. It will now be determined based on the expert opinions. According to his father, there was no ditch where he could drown," school director Sherali Eshdavlatov said in an interview with Kun.uz.

It is reported that after these cases, the khokim of the Pakhtachinsky district, Kayum Khushbakov, instructed the class teachers of all schools in the region to go door-to-door and check whether the students are with their parents.

According to Bakhtigul Karshiyeva, press secretary of the Department of Preschool and School Education of Samarkand region, the cases were not in class.

Also, in connection with the start of summer holidays, letters of guarantee were received not to swim in prohibited areas, not to send children to swimming pools.

As a reminder, according to the order of the Minister of Preschool and School Education dated June 27, 2023, No. 190 "On Approving the Job Instructions of the Deputy Director for Spiritual and Educational Work of a General Secondary Educational Institution and Class Teachers," parents are responsible for the actions of students outside the educational institution after classes and during holidays in accordance with the current legislation.
