Some kindergartens in Karakalpakstan will be closed due to hot weather.
By the decision of the khokim of the Khojeyli district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, on July 16-18 of this year, the activities of all state preschool educational organizations in the district will be temporarily suspended due to weather conditions above +40 degrees.
This was announced on the official Telegram page of the Khojeyli district administration.
Earlier, Uzhydromet warned that very hot air flows from the south are expected to enter the territory of Uzbekistan on July 17-19 of this year.
On July 17 in the north, south, and desert zone of the republic, on July 18-20 in most of the territory, the air temperature will rise to +40...+43 degrees, in the south and desert zone in some places up to +44...+45 degrees.
As a reminder, summer clubs are currently operating in general secondary education institutions across all regions of the republic as part of the "Current 90 Days" initiative.
The Ministry of Preschool and School Education has not issued an order to suspend the activities of these summer clubs during the previous period of abnormally hot weather.
