A football match will be held among schoolgirls, and the winning team will receive a Damas.

For the first time, the "Minister of Preschool and School Education Cup" football tournament will be held among schoolgirls. This was reported by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

Schoolchildren aged 14-18 studying in grades 7-11 of general education institutions will be able to participate in the competition.

The main goal of the competition is the development of mass football among schoolgirls, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, the meaningful organization of their free time, and the identification of talented athletes.

The competition will be held in three stages:

• district (city) stage - from February 1 to 5 of the current year;

• regional stage - February 13-17 of the current year;

• the republican stage will be held on March 24-30 of this year in Surkhandarya region.

All matches will be played according to FIFA-defined football rules.  A total of 16 teams will participate in the final stage, and the winners will be personally awarded by the Minister of Preschool and School Education.

The winners of the competition are awarded in the following order:

• 1st place - a Damas car and a cash prize of 250 million soums;

• 2nd place - a Damas car and a cash prize of 200 million soums;

• 3rd place - a Damas car and a cash prize of 150 million soums.

Special gifts from the Minister of Preschool and School Education will also be presented to all participants of the republican stage.
