It is known that by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 692 dated December 29, 2023, a new procedure for assigning qualifications to pedagogues was introduced.
According to the new regulation, the following changes were made to the procedure for assigning qualifications to pedagogues:
➖ in connection with the completion of the educational inspection, the certification of school pedagogic personnel will be carried out by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education;
➖ it was decided to introduce the practice of issuing qualification certificates based on international standards and paying pedagogues who have received the certificate an additional fee of 70 percent of the basic tariff rate;
➖ pedagogical personnel who have 25 years of work experience and more than 5 years before retirement - their current qualification category (position) - became correct;
➖ the procedure for issuing a 20-point certificate from the school when teachers pass certification has been canceled (with the exception of secondary special, professional educational organizations);
➖ certification of pedagogic personnel was carried out in two stages. In the first stage, the level of knowledge of the pedagogue's specialty and professional standards was assessed, and in the second stage, pedagogical skills were assessed.
