According to the "Regulation on the procedure for providing secondary schools with textbooks and teaching-methodical manuals", regardless of the method of using textbooks or teaching-methodical manuals, they are lost or becomes unusable, the student's parents or their substitutes or sponsors or teachers will compensate the damage with the same textbooks or teaching-methodical manuals or its primary documents (in the invoice , in the bill of lading) must pay the value indicated.
Textbook rental has been canceled. But this regulation is still in force. Therefore, we believe that the other requirements of the statute will continue to apply.
Parents of students or their substitutes or sponsors or teachers shall pay the damages in the following amounts:
- For each textbook or teaching-methodical manuals of 1st grade students - in the amount of one time;
- for each textbook or teaching-methodical manual of 2nd - 4th grade students - twice its amount;
- For each textbook or teaching-methodical manuals of 5-11th grade students - in the amount of four times.
In this case, the cost of the textbooks must be indicated in the invoice and the waybill. The price is determined accordingly.
Accounting for textbooks and educational manuals in the library fund of the general education school, their use, their storage, the existence and movement of payment documents for them, as well as the careful preservation of textbooks among students. educational activities aimed at its development are carried out by librarians of general education schools.
