Who is not involved in professional certification?

As it is known, it is planned to hold tests on May 21-22 for intern-teachers who entered the school for the first time. According to the established procedure, some categories of pedagogic personnel are not involved in this. You can read the list below.

The following are not involved in professional certification at all

Specialists with a master's degree;
candidate of science, doctor of philosophy Doctor of Philosophy (PhD);
those who have a Doctor of Science (DSc) degree;
Senior academic staff awarded by the Higher Attestation Commission;
Pedagogical personnel with academic titles of docent and professor.

The following are exempted from professional certification for a certain period

pregnant women, women on pregnancy or maternity leave, during their leave and for one year after starting work;
women with children under the age of three who are engaged in pedagogical activity (until their child turns three);
pedagogic personnel undergoing long-term treatment (for more than three months), during the period of their treatment and for six months after starting work;
Pedagogical personnel sent to study, retraining and professional development courses in the republic and a foreign country for a period of three months and longer, for six months after their employment.

Uncategorized teachers will not be involved in professional certification only this year

In this academic year, only intern-teachers who have been hired for the first time in the pedagogic profession will be involved in the professional certificate.

Starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, pedagogic personnel of general secondary education organizations who do not have the appropriate category will be involved in professional certification tests.

Students are not involved in professional certification exams

The decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 87 of February 2, 2024 stipulates that only highly educated applicants who have been employed in teaching professions for the first time will be involved in the professional certification test, so students working in schools will not be involved in the professional certification.
