From now on, Uzbekistan Cup "Volleyball stars" competition will be held annually among schoolchildren

The Presidential Decree "On measures for the further development of volleyball sports" (No. PP-274, 19.07.2024) was adopted.

According to the decision, the competition "Volleyball Stars" Uzbekistan Cup will be held among students of general secondary educational institutions.

Also, according to the decision, from 2025 onwards, the following will be held annually:

• republican competition "New Uzbekistan" on volleyball sports among employees of ministries and departments in 3 stages (district (city) - region - republic);

• 3-level Cup of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education among high school students of general secondary educational institutions;

• para-volleyball sports competitions among persons with disabilities.

• from 2025, once every two years, an international tournament "The Great Silk Road" will be held among the member states of the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA).

The state specialized boarding school for Olympic and national sports of Uchkurgan district of Namangan region will be reorganized into a state specialized boarding school for volleyball sports.
