Sports school coaches will be assigned to physical education teachers.

Today, February 13, at a videoconference meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on measures for the further development of the Olympic and Paralympic movement, raising mass sports to a new level, and increasing the physical activity of the population, it was noted that the current state of involving schoolchildren in sports is not at the required level.

It has been determined that each school must have at least one club for martial arts and team Olympic sports.

For this purpose, the Ministry of Sport will assign coaches from all sports schools in its system to physical education teachers in general education schools.

The federations will select one general education school in each district and adapt it to their chosen sport. Provides them with qualified coaches and sports equipment.

Competitions in Olympic sports will be organized between schools. Students who show the best results will be selected, and schools will be provided with the necessary sports equipment.

Physical education teachers who have shown results will be especially encouraged.
