Paragraph 29 of the Regulation approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated September 30, 2019 No. 823 states that employees of general education institutions, including managers, can be rewarded in the amount of up to 50 percent of the minimum wage only on the occasion of October 1 - Teachers and Mentors Day at the expense of the existing funds of the Fund.

That is, when calculating the amount of remuneration, it is not the teacher's monthly salary, but the minimum wage.

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 12, 2024 No. DP-108, starting from October 1, 2024, the minimum wage is set at 1 million 155 thousand soums per month.

However, the decision of the Working Group and the order of the school director on the remuneration of employees of general education institutions, including managers, will be signed in September.

The minimum wage will be officially increased from October 1, 2024, meaning it will be 1 million 155 thousand soums.

Currently, the minimum wage is 1 million 50 thousand soums, of which 50% is 525 thousand soums.

Therefore, considering that the decision of the Working Group and the order of the school director on the remuneration of employees of general education institutions, including managers, will be signed in September, it would be more appropriate to set the amount of the award at 525,000 soums.

Currently, there is a misconception that the minimum wage has also increased since September, as the amount of pensions and benefits has been increased by 15% since September 1, 2024, according to the Decree of the President of the Working Groups of some educational institutions No. DP-108.

For this reason, the working groups of some educational institutions calculate the minimum wage at 1 million 155 thousand soums and set the amount of remuneration at 577,500 soums. This is considered a financial error and may cause a number of problems in future audits of "AUDIT."

Therefore, we believe that the working groups should set the amount of remuneration at 525,000 soums.
