As you know, Hilola Umarova, who has been working as the Minister of Preschool and School Education since 2023, put forward her candidacy in this year's parliamentary elections.
More precisely, the minister was nominated as a candidate on the party list. According to the current regulations, if Hilola Umarova was elected as a deputy, she would have to resign from her position.
According to the Election Code, in the event that a deputy who was elected on the party list and has a mandate voluntarily renounces the mandate, the Central Election Commission will send a notification to the next candidate according to the order number in the relevant party list within one day.
That is, if the conditional minister returns his mandate, the candidate who did not receive a mandate according to the list will be given a mandate.
The election results were announced on October 28, 2024. UzLiDeP won with 64 seats. Minister Hilola Umarova was nominated as a candidate from UzLiDeP.

According to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, xalqtaliminfo.uz, Hilola Uktamovna Umarova voluntarily resigned from the deputy mandate. That is, he will continue his work as a minister.
