The first deputy minister of preschool and school education was appointed

By the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Karimov Sherzod Abdurasulovich was appointed as the first deputy minister of preschool and school education.

Today, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education held a meeting on organizational issues. Officials of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Preschool and School Education Hilola Umarova and officials of the Ministry took part in it.

The relevant decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was read out at the meeting. According to him, until now, Karimov worked as the head of the Youth Policy, Pre-school and School Education, Health and Spiritual Affairs Department of the Cabinet of Ministers "Mahalla Yettiligi", Department of Youth Policy and Spiritual Affairs. It was announced that Sherzod Abdurasulovich was appointed as the first deputy minister of preschool and school education.

Sh. Karimov worked in the public education system in 2006-2012, in the secondary special vocational education system in 2012-2018.

In 2018-2024, he worked as a leader, chief specialist, head of the branch, deputy head of the secretariat of the Department of Education and Social Development of the Cabinet of Ministers.
