Joint projects to improve the qualifications of teachers will be organized with Azerbaijan

Minister of Preschool and School Education Hilola Umarova met with the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullaev.
It was reported that in August of this year, a cooperation protocol was also signed between the ministries of education of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, agreements were reached on the following areas:
- Organization of trainings and joint projects to improve teachers' qualifications;
- Exchange of experience in the development of educational programs and teaching materials;
- Continue cooperation within the framework of the International STEAM Festival and establish a STEAM Center in Uzbekistan;
- Establish cooperation on the exchange of pedagogical personnel between Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University and Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University;
- To study the experience of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of hospital education, in particular, the "Mehrli Maktab";
- Issues of information exchange on knowledge assessment systems and digital educational platforms were discussed.
Following the meeting, a Roadmap for strengthening cooperation for 2025-2026 was signed.
