From January 1, 2025, native language and history teachers will receive a 50% bonus for a national certificate
Starting from January 1, 2025, in general secondary educational institutions of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, teachers who have a certificate of the corresponding level obtained in the national assessment system of the Agency for the Evaluation of Knowledge and Skills in the subjects of native language and literature and history and teach these subjects will be paid a monthly additional bonus in the amount of 50 percent of their tariff rate.
Minister of Preschool and School Education Hilola Umarova has been appointed responsible for the full, high-quality and unconditional implementation of this task. That is, the ministry is obliged to fulfill this order from January 1 without any excuses.
This is provided for in paragraph 12 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 21, 2024 No. UP-37.
Currently, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-134 of May 11, 2022, the amount of the allowance paid to teachers of native language, literature and history, who have a national certificate, is 20 percent.
From 2025, it is planned to increase the amount of these allowances to 50 percent.
