A proposal to switch schools to a 5-day work week has been submitted to the government.

Recently, on the "Mening fikrim" electronic collective appeals portal, one of the citizens, Nabiev Nematulla Hamidullaevich, put forward a proposal to transfer the education system to a full 5-day study and work schedule, which quickly gained widespread attention. In just a few days, this appeal managed to gather more than 10,000 votes.

According to former deputy Rasul Kusherbayev, citizen Nabiev Nematulla Hamidullaevich's electronic collective appeal No. 375-s-r/24 "On transferring the education system to full 5-day study and work mode" to the "Mening fikrim" web portal managed to collect more than 10,000 votes from March 28 to April 3, 2025.

In accordance with the requirements of the Regulation, this appeal, which received more than 10 thousand votes, was sent to the relevant authorized state body - the Cabinet of Ministers.

In accordance with paragraph 35 of the Regulation on the procedure for submitting and reviewing electronic collective appeals through the "Mening fikrim" web portal, the relevant authorized state body considers the appeal and makes a reasoned decision.

According to the regulation, each appeal that receives more than 10,000 votes must be officially reviewed by the relevant government agencies and a reasoned decision must be made.

Currently, the process of reviewing this appeal has begun. The decision will be published on the "Mening fikrim" portal.
