The number of Deputy Ministers of Education has reached 5

The position of Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education for the Development of Pedagogical Education has been introduced. He simultaneously serves as the rector of the reorganized Nizami National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan.

This position was created in order to bring the system of training pedagogical personnel in the republic to a qualitatively new level based on a unified approach.

The university, as a leading higher education institution for training pedagogical personnel, coordinates the processes of transforming educational programs based on international experience.

Also, a total of 13 pedagogical higher educational institutions in the republic are being transferred to the system of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

Currently, the rector of Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami is Abdug'affor Karimjonovich Qirg'izboyev.

It is not yet known whether a new candidate will be appointed to the post of Rector of the National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan named after Nizami - Deputy Minister for the Development of Pedagogical Education after the reorganization of the university.

For information: Currently, there is one First Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education (Karimov Sherzod Abdurasulovich) and 3 Deputy Ministers (Komilov Temurjon Kalandarovich, Boqiyev Farxod Esanovich, Radjabov Sardor Baxtiyorovich).
