When will the payment of a 70% bonus to teachers begin?

Clause 48 of the Regulation, approved by Resolution No. 572 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated September 17, 2021, provides for the establishment of an additional 70 percent allowance to the base tariff rates of teachers who participated in the certification and received a score of 86 or higher.

According to paragraph 47 of this Regulation, within one month after the completion of the certification process, the relevant order (decision) of the Ministry approves the list of teaching staff who have been awarded the highest, first, and second qualification categories based on the results of the certification, and based on the list, electronic certificates with a QR code are generated online through the platform.

In this case, the official website of the ministry will be integrated with the UzASBO program and school management (ERP) programs for the automatic calculation of changes to the monthly salaries of pedagogical personnel whose qualification category (position) has been increased or maintained based on the results of the next mandatory and extraordinary certification, as well as those whose qualification category (position) has been reduced based on the results of the next mandatory certification.

The amount of basic tariff rates of teaching staff, their qualification category or position are determined on the basis of the certificate, and their salaries are recalculated from the date of certificate generation.

As is known, the spring attestation test processes were completed in May, and, as a rule, the generation of qualification categories and the sending of certificates to the personal accounts of teachers began in July.

Thus, teachers who have received a qualification certificate with a score of 86 points and have a higher and first qualification category, starting from the date of receipt of the certificate, will begin to accrue a 70% bonus to their monthly salary.

According to information provided to xalqtaliminfo.uz, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education is currently preparing a letter of instruction on the payment of these bonuses and other procedures for teachers who have a 70% bonus.

In the near future, this instructional letter will also be sent to the regional departments of preschool and school education.

We remind you that the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 26, 2023 No. UP-79 and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated September 17, 2021 No. 572 provide for additional payment to pedagogical personnel who have received a qualification certificate based on international standards in the amount of 70 percent of the current amounts of tariff rates.
