The date of the practical exam for physical education teachers has been determined

It is known that a new two-stage procedure has been introduced for awarding qualification categories to physical education teachers. The first stage is conducted in the form of a test by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, while the second stage is conducted as a practical examination by the Ministry of Sports.

According to the joint resolution of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and the Ministry of Sports dated April 7, 2026 (No. 23-q/q, 12-q/q) “On the organization of qualification assessments for physical education teachers in general secondary education institutions,” the second-stage practical examinations will be held from May 12 to May 20, 2026.

In addition, by the order of the Ministry of Sports dated May 1, 2026, the schedule for conducting the practical examinations, as well as the composition of regional working groups and assessment commissions, has been approved.

The practical examinations will be held at sports schools designated by the above-mentioned order.

After the completion of the examinations, the assessment commissions will enter the results into the “Qualification Exam” subsystem on the same day.

The examination process will be audio and video recorded, and the recordings will be stored for at least one year. The results will be consolidated and submitted to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education within five days after the completion of the process.

Appeals from teachers who disagree with the results will be reviewed by the appeal commission established by the Ministry of Sports within ten days from the date of announcement of the results, in the presence of the teacher.

Please note that participants must bring a valid identification document (passport or ID card) to the practical examination.
