The duties of the deputy directors for spiritual and educational affairs are approved by the order of the Minister of Preschool and School Education dated June 27, 2023 No. 190 "Spiritual Education of General Secondary Education Institutions" - job instructions of the deputy director for educational affairs" and "General secondary educational institutions (specialized institutions where certain subjects are studied in depth)" approved by the order of the Minister of Preschool and School Education No. 565 of December 20, 2023 are regulated by the position obligations of employees".
The main tasks and functions of the deputy director
The following are the main duties of the deputy director:
➖organization of spiritual and moral education in an educational institution;
➖development of the plan of educational work, control of its execution;
➖monitoring the quality and effectiveness of spiritual and educational activities with the participation of students and pedagogues of the educational institution;
➖ensuring the functioning of various clubs and sports sections in the educational institution;
➖organization of education of students in the spirit of patriotism based on national traditions and values, rich spiritual heritage of our people;
➖meaningful organization of students' free time, carrying out work related to their rest in day camps during the summer vacation;
➖analysis of the quality and results of educational work in the educational institution;
➖to lead the educational activities of class leaders outside the classroom and outside of school, monitor the state and results of educational work in the educational institution, cooperate with parents and their substitutes (hereinafter referred to as parents);
➖control the discipline and attendance of students, the effectiveness of educational work;
➖monitoring the effectiveness of the "Class Hour" organized every Friday during the academic year;
➖establishing cooperation with law enforcement, citizens' self-government bodies and other organizations on issues of prevention of crime and offenses among students;
➖to maintain the account and report of students included in the school's internal register for the preventive account of internal affairs, to ensure the implementation of preventive measures with them;
➖forming a general list of students belonging to the "risk group" (troubled, unhealthy, incomplete family) in the educational institution, organizing special educational activities based on an individual approach together with school inspector-psychologists;
➖organizing meetings, creative evenings and other events with artists, athletes, public figures, war and labor veterans;
➖organization of spiritual and educational events for teaching staff on the third Friday of every month during the academic year;
➖creating conditions for the formation of a community of students based on the principles of patriotism, humanity, interethnic friendship and harmony;
➖improving one's skills, participating in various seminars at the district, regional and national levels;
➖participation in preventive raids such aimed at preventing minors from being left unsupervised and neglected, crimes and offenses among them;
➖coordinating the activities of class leaders and school psychologists;
➖Establishing the activities of "Rainbow" and "Youth Union" captains among students of the 4th-11th grades, the composition of which is 14 people. In the 4th-7th grades, 1 person from each grade is the captain of the "Kamalak" class, in the 8th-11th grades, 1 person is the class " Organizing the election of the "Council of School Captains" by choosing the "Captain" of the Youth Union;
➖supporting the activities of captains during the academic year;
➖listening to the reports of class leaders regarding educational work, making general reports in pedagogical councils.
The deputy director may perform other duties in accordance with the legislation.
The deputy director performs the following functions in accordance with the main tasks assigned to him:
a) in the direction of educating students in the spirit of patriotism:
➖Coordination of patriotic activities together with the deputy director for training young people in the spirit of patriotism and the head of preparation for military service;
➖to implement the education of a mature, well-rounded, spiritually, intellectually, physically developed person in all respects, to create sufficient conditions for students to fully demonstrate their abilities;
➖organization and coordination of education among students in the spirit of loyalty to the Motherland and its people, self-sacrifice, respect for State symbols;
➖creating an environment of education in the spirit of national and universal values in working with students, applying our rich cultural heritage, national ethics standards to the educational process, forming a creative attitude to work in students;
➖systematic organization of preventive measures aimed at preventing antisocial behavior of students in cooperation with relevant offices and organizations, regular involvement of students belonging to the "risk group" to the activities.
b) in the direction of cooperation with parents and community:
➖Wide implementation of the activities of the Community Council in cooperation "Family - neighborhood - educational institution", organization of council meetings based on the plan;
➖controlling the arrival of students to the educational institution in the prescribed school uniform;
➖prevention of students falling under the influence of various religious trends, organization of propaganda;
➖organization of parent meetings, roundtable discussions, dialogues on the education of students;
➖coordination of cooperation with parents and law enforcement agencies of students who are chronically and regularly absent from classes, and students with difficult upbringing, and discuss the results in meetings with the director based on the plan.
d) in the direction of meaningful organization of students' free time, involving them in school and extracurricular activities:
➖Within the framework of 5 important initiatives, organizing the activities of clubs and clubs in the educational institution in science, sports, artistic-aesthetic, art, technical, environmental, tourism, local history and other areas, coordinating the work of attracting students to clubs based on their interests, opportunities and abilities;
➖to encourage capable and talented students, to organize activities to help them develop their creative abilities;
➖organizing rest of students at summer health camps, coordinating the creation of conditions in cooperation with class leaders and parents for them to spend autumn, winter and spring vacations meaningfully;
➖direct supervision of the organization of excursions, spiritual-educational, public-cultural events, trips outside the classroom and school, together with class leaders, ensuring the safety of students.
e) together with the pedagogical team:
➖Content of "Regulation on the procedure for using mobile phones in educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan", "Internal rules and etiquette of teachers and students of general secondary educational institutions", "Regulation on the procedure for introducing a modern uniform school uniform for students of state general secondary educational institutions" - bring its essence and requirements to the attention of every employee, students, and their parents of the educational institution, control their compliance;
➖in necessary cases, to include issues regarding the use of mobile phones, the state of compliance with the internal order and rules of etiquette in the educational institution, in the discussion of the pedagogical council, in the presence of the director, and at the parents' meetings.
The deputy director may perform other functions in accordance with the legislation.
Rights and obligations of the deputy director
The deputy director has the following rights in the performance of his duties:
➖organization and control of the educational process in the educational institution;
➖study student groups with class leaders, control the quality and content of educational work of class leaders, activities of children's creative associations (circle, club, section);
➖choosing the content, forms and methods of working with class leaders, pedagogues, parents, neighborhood, creative organizations, implementing it in accordance with the traditions of the educational institution;
➖participation in classes, extracurricular and extracurricular activities, activities offered by class leaders;
➖making a proposal for material and moral encouragement of each pedagogue based on the results of his work in the field of spiritual and educational education, involving students in activities outside of school and outside the classroom;
➖inviting parents to the educational institution regarding the education of students, visiting families together with representatives of relevant offices and organizations in necessary cases;
➖participation in the work of the interdepartmental national commission on children's issues under the local government, in councils on the education of students of educational institutions in organizations and agencies, in meetings on the education of minors, in theoretical-practical, methodical work on educational problems;
➖study and practice the best practices of other educational institutions;
➖submitting and discussing issues to the pedagogical and methodological council or the councils of the methodological association of class leaders;
➖making a proposal to the management to encourage and reward class leaders who have achieved high standards in educational work;
making an offer to encourage and reward parents, neighborhood activists, labor veterans who make a worthy contribution to the education of minors.
The deputy director may have other rights in accordance with the law in the performance of his duties.
Duties of the deputy director include:
➖formation and systematic organization of educational work in an educational institution;
➖written on behalf of the management to the relevant organizations to monitor the attendance of students by the class leaders, to study the family situation of students who chronically and regularly do not attend classes, the reasons for not coming to classes, to take measures to fully involve them in classes, and to determine effective measures against them in necessary cases filing an appeal;
➖inspector-psychologists attached to educational institutions take measures in accordance with the established procedure for problems arising in the behavior, manners and attendance of students;
➖pedagogue to the requirements of the "Regulation on the procedure for the use of mobile phones in educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan", "Internal procedures and rules of etiquette of teachers and students of general secondary educational institutions", "Regulation on the procedure for introducing a modern uniform school uniform for students of state general secondary educational institutions" monitor compliance by employees, students, and their parents (citizens who visit the educational institution), make a proposal to take effective measures against them when violations of the requirements of the regulations are observed;
➖in accordance with the current legal documents, organizing propaganda and explanatory work among parents about the responsibility, obligation and responsibility of parents in raising children;
➖monitor the implementation of educational goals in the teaching of all general education subjects, provide methodological support to pedagogues;
➖to regularly improve one's socio-political, legal knowledge.
The deputy director may perform other duties in accordance with the law.
