According to the order of the Minister of Preschool and School Education No. 70 of March 7, 2024, "Organization of the science Olympiad in the field of informatics among students of the 5th-8th grade of general secondary education organizations on the procedure for obtaining and carrying it out" The Regulation was approved.
According to it, in March-April, science olympiad will be held among students of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades in the field of informatics. The Olympiad is organized in the stages of "school - district (city) - region - republic".
The Olympiad will be held in four stages during the following periods:
the first stage - the school stage between students of state and non-state educational institutions in March;
the second round - in March among the students who won the first round at the district (city) level;
the third stage - between the winners of the second stage at the level of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and Tashkent city, and students of schools under the jurisdiction of the Agency of Specialized Educational Institutions in April;
the fourth stage - will be held in April among the students who won the third stage at the national level.
The school stage of the Olympiad will be held in state and non-state educational institutions in March. In schools, up to 3 winners will be determined from among the participants in each grade in order of points and recommended for participation in the second stage by the decision of the school's pedagogical council (or the head of a non-governmental educational organization).
The district (city) stage of the Olympiad will be held in March between students of state and non-state educational institutions who won the school stage of the Olympiad. Control materials for the Olympiad are compiled by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and delivered to the regions with confidentiality.
Students who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the district (city) stage of the Olympiad, up to 15 students recommended by the agency of specialized educational institutions in each class and region will participate in the regional stage of the Olympiad. This stage of the Olympics will be held in April.
Students who took the 1st-5th places in the regional stage of the Olympiad will participate in the republican stage of the Olympiad. This stage of the Olympics will be held in April.
