It became known that some senior employees of the ministry are entrepreneurs

It was found that 37 management employees of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education work on a founding basis in 39 business entities. This was reported by the Anti-Corruption Agency.

In order to eliminate these violations, the Agency submitted a presentation to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, issued warning letters to "entrepreneurs" and eliminated the cases of violations, the report says.

For information: According to Article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On guarantees of freedom of entrepreneurial activity," state bodies (except for cases provided for by law), their officials, as well as other persons prohibited by law to engage in entrepreneurial activity, cannot be subjects of entrepreneurial activity.

At the same time, Article 13 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On State Civil Service" establishes restrictions related to the performance of the state civil service by a state civil servant to engage in entrepreneurial activity, to organize business entities, to be their founder (participant), to perform organizational and managerial, administrative and economic functions of a business entity.
