The President noted that the teacher training centers in the cities of Gulistan, Namangan and Fergana, as well as in the Karmana district, remain in a dire situation.
At the same time, a dialogue is being held with the participation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the ongoing work in the field of education and priority tasks for the future in connection with the "Teacher and Mentor Day."
During the conversation, the work carried out in the system of advanced training was also mentioned.
"It is no coincidence that today's open dialogue is being held at the Abdullah Avloni Institute of Advanced Training, which has a history of almost a century.
Before the meeting, I got acquainted with the conditions created at the institute, which currently has a completely new look, and the presentation of a new system for improving the qualifications of teachers.
From now on, we will organize work in 7 areas to raise the quality of education to a new level.
First, the Abdulla Avloni Institute will be responsible for improving the professional skills of teachers.
In the next three years, 50 billion Uzbek soums will be allocated from the budget for the modernization and equipping of 12 regional centers of the institute.
Yesterday I heard good news. Khokim of Bukhara region Botir Zaripov, without waiting for these funds, allocated 7 billion soums from the local budget and began the reconstruction of the regional training center.
Such kind deeds will undoubtedly suit the people of Bukhara, who have long been a center of science and enlightenment, the land of great scientists.
If the other khokims take the initiative, find the necessary funds, and bring the centers in their territory to a modern appearance, who will win?
