Schools that collected mandatory votes will be excluded from "Open Budget"

The Ministry of Economy and Finance announced that projects that have gathered mandatory votes in the "Participatory Budget" project will be removed from the voting stage.

Reports circulated on social media about cases of forced voting at school No. 37 in the Kuva district of the Fergana region. These cases were investigated by the relevant competent authorities, and it was confirmed that employees of this school were indeed involved in mandatory voting.

In this regard, the Ministry of Economy and Finance has sent a proposal to the relevant district Council of People's Deputies to exclude projects that have gathered mandatory votes in this school from the voting stage.

Involvement in forced voting within the framework of the "Participatory Budgeting" process is classified as forced labor.
