Schools that have more than 1,500 votes in "OpenBudget" will be selected by the Ministry

Earlier, in 2023, we reported that additional funds will be allocated to finance projects related to equipment of non-winning schools that have collected more than 1,500 votes in the "OpenBudget" project.

A lot of pedagogues, we participated in the "OpenBudget" project in 2023 and collected more than 1.5 thousand votes, are sending an appeal asking whether funds will be allocated to our school. Therefore, we tried to study this issue in more detail.

It is known that according to the Law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan" in the "Initiative Budget" financing of projects related to equipment, which collected more than 1.5 thousand votes, but were not declared winners 164 billion 237 million soums of additional funds were allocated to educational institutions.

According to the source of Xalqtaliminfo.uz, the Ministry of Economy and Finance plans to allocate 164 billion 237 million soums allocated to educational institutions to finance the most urgent projects.

In this case, these funds will be used to finance the most relevant projects among the projects related to equipment based on the analyzes of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

To be more precise, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education will select the school that has the greatest need for equipment.

Let's say that in 2023 a total of 200 schools received more than 1.5 thousand votes in the "OpenBudget" project, 164 billion 237 million soums allocated from the state budget will have to be distributed to the same schools.

If the projects related to equipment of each educational institution amount to 1 billion soums on average, it means that the above amount can be delivered to 164 schools on average. The remaining 40 schools may not be funded as their equipment needs are not high.

This is done on the basis of the analyzes of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, as we mentioned above.
