On March 18 of this year, an accident occurred when 54 students of 9-10-11 grades of the 5th IDUM of Kogon district were being taken to the Bukhara State Drama Theater by bus. According to YHXX's preliminary information, one of the passengers was O.J. 9th grader died, and one of them was hospitalized with injuries.

B. Toyirov, head of the "Sukhor" MFY, with whom Bugun.uz was contacted, said that the injured student also died today, March 19.

According to the video footage provided to Bugun.uz, the traffic light was not working at the intersection on the day of the incident (32nd kilometer of the A-380 highway passing through the territory of Kogon district).

Despite the fact that the main road sign was on the side of the truck, the bus driver crossed the intersection. It can be seen from the images in the video that the bus driver was not paying attention and did not even have time to press the "brake" at the time of the incident.

In "Requirements for ensuring the safety of passenger transportation by buses in the Republic of Uzbekistan", it is established that when taking schoolchildren on a trip, to ensure their safety, it is necessary to apply to the district health and safety department.

The bus driver (O.Sh, born in 1991) was a member of "Bukhara express trans" MJCH and engaged in passenger transportation.

The Ministry of Preschool and School Education informed Bugun.uz that two psychologists of the 5th specialized state comprehensive school in Kogon district have been assigned to improve the mental and psychological condition of the students affected by this incident and provide them with all-round assistance.
