President, creative and specialized schools are given a bigger package of opportunities

On April 1 of this year, Presidential Decree No. PF-55 "On measures to expand the network of specialized schools and further improve their activities" was signed. With this decree, we can see that the President, creativity and specialized schools have been given a bigger package of opportunities.
The presidential decree stipulates the following:
From the 2024/2025 academic year, the practice of conducting classes with the participation of academicians of the Academy of Sciences will be established in the schools of the Agency of Specialized Educational Institutions.
Also in these schools:
classes aimed at developing students' creativity skills are organized;
students are assisted in the development of practical projects and their implementation;
students are actively involved in production processes and are introduced to the projects conducted in the scientific laboratories of the Academy of Sciences;
In order to develop innovative ideas and developments of students, "Young academics" clubs are established;
"A step to invention" contest will be held.
In the specialized school named after Mirzo Ulugbek, the educational process is organized according to the STEM model. According to the decree, from the academic year 2025/2026, educational programs for training students in the basics of engineering will be integrated with "New Uzbekistan" University as an experiment in the specialized school named after Mirzo Ulug'bek. will be introduced.
In this:
The educational process of the specialized school named after Mirzo Ulugbek is organized according to the STEM model based on 5-year programs;
selection for engineering programs is made among the 6th grade graduates of general secondary educational institutions who have abilities in mathematics, logical thinking, informatics and engineering;
engineering educational programs are mutually integrated with undergraduate educational programs of "New Uzbekistan" University;
Graduates who have properly mastered the engineering educational programs are given the right to continue their studies from the 2nd stage of the relevant bachelor's education program of "New Uzbekistan" University.
According to the decree, from the 2024/2025 academic year, creative and specialized schools in the Agency system:
the practice of teaching subjects in a foreign language will be introduced by teachers who have at least a B2 level certificate on knowledge of a foreign language;
teachers who conduct classes in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, natural sciences (science), informatics and information technologies in a foreign language will be paid an additional monthly bonus of 100 percent compared to the tariff rate;
The procedure for paying local teachers of presidential schools an additional monthly bonus in the amount of 350 percent of their tariff rate will be introduced.
In this case, overtime is paid by pedagogues if all the following conditions are met:
Successful completion of 3 (Introductory, Extension, Marking) courses on teaching subjects taught on the basis of international education programs of Cambridge (Cambridge Assessment International Education) and receiving an appropriate certificate;
Having at least 1 year of work experience in presidential schools and an international certificate of at least S1 level or an equivalent level of foreign language proficiency.
According to the decree, from the academic year 2024/2025, the following activities will be organized as extracurricular activities in order to introduce a new system of educating students in the spirit of patriotism in the schools of the Agency system:
In the 5th-8th grades, it is directed to the formation of the skills of the defender of the Motherland by connecting the exemplary life of our great generals such as Amir Temur, Jalaluddin Manguberdi, Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur with the bravery of our military today;
In 9-11 grades, military games and sports competitions are held, students are directed to increase military-patriotic feelings and prepare for military service by organizing direct meetings with the military;
Every year, "Turan Tigers" military sports are organized among the students (Knowledger of "Timur's Tuzuklari", archery, disassembly and assembly of weapons from incomplete parts, shooting from sports weapons, first aid) competitions will be held;
Model school corners reflecting national traditions and values will be established;
The activity of the "Turon" theater studio, aimed at developing moral, socio-emotional and aesthetic taste in students, reflecting the life of historical figures in artistic interpretation, glorifying national values, will be launched as an experiment.
From the 2024/2025 academic year, in schools of creativity within the system of the Agency of Specialized Educational Institutions:
master classes are held with the participation of socially and creatively active writers and public figures who have gained reputation among the general public;
"Young translators" clubs will be launched;
Lessons of "textual studies" are organized;
2 times a year, the practice of publishing the collections of students called "Bouquet from the Garden of Creativity" is established;
On the basis of the subject "Fine art and drawing" the subject "Art" (ART) is introduced;
The basics of robotics are taught as part of the "Technology" subject of grades 7-9;
From the academic year of 2024/2025, an audition aimed at selecting talented young people in the field of fiction and art will be held among students of general secondary educational institutions.
Every year:
Within the framework of the "My first book" project, a collection of creative works of at least two students from each creative school will be published;
At least 5 creative students from each creative school will participate in the traditional "Zomin Seminar".
Each creative school is provided with a set of 100 volumes of books called "Masterpieces of Turkish Literature".
Creative schools are attached to higher educational institutions and embassies of Uzbekistan in foreign countries.
