In the Baysun district of Surkhandarya region, a person who taught illegal religious lessons to children was arrested. This was reported by the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
It turned out that a person born in 1988, with an average education, gave illegal religious lessons to 11 minors at home using various religious literature in a cell for a monthly fee of from 500,000 to 1 million soums.
The accused was sentenced to 10 days in prison in accordance with Article 241 of the Administrative Responsibility Code (Use of vehicles for personal gain).
