Is it possible to give 100 percent of the teachers in the school a bonus?

It is known that previously, a pedagogical worker could be financially rewarded several times a year for his personal contribution to the development of a general education institution and achieving high results in his work, as well as by paying a reward in the amount of up to two official salaries during the calendar year in connection with the holiday dates celebrated in our republic.

That is, teachers in educational institutions were rewarded with a cash reward in the amount of up to 100% of their official salary in turn during the calendar year, depending on the results they showed.

However, unfortunately, this order was restricted by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 425 of August 2, 2022. According to the current procedure, employees of general education institutions, including managers, can be rewarded in the amount of up to 50% of the minimum wage (577 thousand 500 soums) only on the occasion of "October 1 - Teachers and Mentors Day."

Can the prize money be given to all teachers in the educational institution?

It should be noted that from October 1, the employer's exclusive right is to award remuneration to teaching staff. However, if the provision of this type of money is reflected in the collective agreement, the performance of these payments is imposed on the employer as an obligation.

That is, the awarding of remuneration to teaching staff should be given to all teachers if it is provided for by the collective agreement.

It should be remembered that the remuneration of teachers is carried out on the basis of the decision of the working group formed in educational institutions.

At the same time, a decision of the Working Group on remuneration of employees of general education institutions, including their managers, is made. After that, an order from the school director is issued to ensure the implementation of the decisions of the working group.

In accordance with the order of the school director adopted on the basis of the decision of the working group, remuneration will be paid to employees of general education institutions.
