In the 2nd general education school in Navoi city, a mass shaving "event" of male students was held. The situation happened today, February 23. The Kun.uz source reports about this.
According to the source, on the initiative of the school director, Nurgabil Yusupov, a hairdresser was called to the school, and boys from different classes gathered in the gym and had their hair cut. National Guard officers were also watching the process.
Kun.uz contacted Rano Hayitova, the head of the Department of Pre-school and School Education of Navoi region, in order to comment on the situation. According to the head of the department, this situation cannot be justified at all.
"I sent someone to the school now. I spoke with the director of this school yesterday. We will fully study the activities of this school. This situation is absolutely impossible. In fact, it is impossible for such a director to stay at work. At school, a student has no right to touch his hair. This does not correspond to the rules of ethics of a teacher," explained the head of the department.
Ramazon Kubayev, the spokesperson of the National Guard Department of Navoi region, said that the National Guard officers were against this initiative of the school director.
"Our attached staff found out about this situation when they went to the school to check attendance. This is definitely not possible. That's why they told the school director to stop the process and send the students back to class," says Ramazon Kubayev.
