The group headed by Minister Khilola Umarova is establishing effective educational cooperation with German universities. Currently, members of the delegation of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education are in Germany.
First, he took part in the international symposium "Without borders: opportunities for a new stage of cooperation between Germany and Uzbekistan in education, science and industry" held at the Technical University of Munich. At the symposium, Minister Hilola Umarova spoke about the work done in cooperation between the two countries. In particular, a presentation was organized on the 3-year cooperation between New Uzbekistan University and Munich Technical University under the ministry.
Within the framework of the event, heads of the German companies Siemens, Knorr-bremse, Airbus, Deloitte, IT4IPM, Linde were invited to participate in the International Industrial Consultative Council organized at the New Uzbekistan University. It should be said that this Council organizes the regular implementation of practical processes of students, solving problems in industry through science and research. German advanced industrial enterprises as well as leaders of local enterprises will be involved in it.
During the meetings organized within the framework of the symposium, initial agreements were reached to open various laboratories for the students of "New Uzbekistan" University to become industry-ready staff, and to open separate training centers for conducting laboratory training sessions by Siemens company in the new campus of the university.
Officials of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education held discussions with the professors of the Technical University of Munich on further strengthening of mutual cooperation and expansion of the professor-teacher exchange program. In particular, at the meeting held between the delegation of "New Uzbekistan" University and the leadership of Mitvayda University of Applied Sciences, a memorandum of understanding was signed on the establishment of a two-degree master's program. According to him, students in the program of Industrial management, innovation and business development will continue the second semester in Germany.
As part of the meetings, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences. According to him, students of "Yangi Uzbekistan" University can do internships at companies such as Audi and BMW, which are close partners of Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences. During the visit, Minister Hilola Umarova met with Robert Brannekemper, head of the Committee on Science and Culture of the Bavarian Parliament. In the heated negotiations, the issues of relations between Bavaria and Uzbekistan, joint organization of joint projects in the fields of education and culture were discussed.
Issues of wide-scale cooperation with Germany's Dresden University of Technology, Dresden University of Applied Sciences, Freiberg University of Technology, Nuremberg University were also discussed. In particular, the cooperation plans of "New Uzbekistan" University and these universities on future education were considered.
