The Institute for retraining and advanced training of directors and specialists of preschool educational organizations will be transferred to the subordination of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.
This is provided for in the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 21, 2024 No. PP-231.
At the same time, the activities of regional centers for retraining and advanced training of employees of preschool educational organizations are coordinated by the Preschool Education Institute.
In order to expand the existing capacities for retraining and advanced training of employees of preschool and school educational organizations, 11 pedagogical colleges will be transferred to the jurisdiction of regional centers with their buildings and facilities and related property.
The activities of pedagogical colleges transferred to regional centers shall be phased out in accordance with the terms of graduation of students studying in them, and their buildings and structures will be used for the purpose of retraining and advanced training of employees of preschool and school educational organizations.
Also, an electronic program "Virtual professional development" will be introduced for the continuous professional development of pedagogical and specialist personnel of preschool educational organizations.
