More than a million children in India do not go to school

If we take the percentage of students who did not attend school in India, the total attendance rate in Indian schools is 99.59%.
What is the attendance rate in schools in Uzbekistan?
Although there are many students who do not attend classes in India, this is a higher result compared to Uzbekistan in terms of attendance rates.
That is, the number of students in India is 39 times greater than the number of students in Uzbekistan. Currently, there are 6,772,000 students studying in Uzbekistan, the average attendance in schools in 2022 was 83.6%, and by 2023, the average attendance had decreased to 82.5%.
The lowest attendance rates were observed among high school students, that is, students in grades 10-11, or 78.4 percent.
Following this, to ensure the possibility of compulsory education in Uzbekistan, the Government mobilized the National Guard to monitor and ensure school attendance. This contributed to an increase in attendance rates over a certain period of time.
